"With mirth and laughter let old wrinkles come."

I approach Shakespeare from a place of joy, empathy, scholarship, and wonder, and my goal is to help my students embody that same mirth and enthusiasm I feel when performing his work. Shakespeare is wildly funny, passionate, and delightful, and there’s nothing to be afraid of!

“Make not your thoughts your prisons...”

Yes, there are some “rules” when it comes to Shakespeare, and I aim to help my students see these “rules” as guardrails; not a prison cell. We’ll work together to make your monologue feel truthful, lived-in, and special to YOU.
